     Pu Sa Ding
 

We had our first stop at Pu Sa Ding, the residence of Manjusri Buddisattva located on the Lingjiu Peak of Mount Wutai, which is honored as one of the five Buddhist places there. Found on Emperor Xiaowen’s (Northern Wei) watch, it was turned into the No.1 temple following the Tibetan Buddhism during the reign of Emperor Kangxi (Qing Dynasty). In the majestic main shrine hall of antique beauty, the red walls, gold tiles, cornices, corbel brackets, curling upwards incense smoke, colorful prayer flags, gracious bodhisattvas and lamas in red with bare arms fully illustrated the meditation of Buddha to which we paid tribute.
 

     Xiantong Temple
 

Xiantong Temple is the second ancient temple in China, which was founded in reign (Yongping Years) of Emperor Ming (Eastern Han Dynasty), following closely the White Horse Temple.

Tayuan Temple
 

Tayuan Temple is the holy land of Buddhists where the Sakyamuni Stupa, Buddha Footprint Monument and Worship Pagoda of Manjusri Buddisattva (the Master of Mount Wutai) dwell. The Sakyamuni Stupa, a big white pagoda of Tibetan style and appealing design, is located in Taihuai Town (the center of Mount Wutai) and surrounded by the temples, making the landmark of Mount Wutai – No.1 holy land of Buddhism in China.

Dai Luo Ding

Dai Luo Ding is also known as the “Small Pilgrimage Site” for the visitors may worship all five dharma-laksanaes of Manjusri Buddisattva here, which are respectively located on five flat tops of Mount Wutai.
 

The Great Wisdom Path of 1,080 steps is the only route to Dai Luo Ding. YeeDo people helped each other and finally gathered at the peak. Where, we were attracted by the mountains, luxuriantly green vegetation and indistinct temples in rime fog. What a fairy land!
